Team ARC pedals for hope

ARC’s team of incredible people are passionate about many important causes and continue to step up to support their communities however they can. Whether they are preparing lunches for Calgary kids, or volunteering at a local Food Bank, our people roll up their sleeves, volunteer their time, and direct their money to organizations and events that promote Active and Vibrant communities.

This year, Team ARC will once again gear up for the Tour Alberta for Cancer, riding in Alberta’s largest cycling fundraiser to raise money for the Alberta Cancer Foundation and the ongoing work to support cancer research and provide world-class care to patients from across the province. For the last three years, this employee-led initiative has gained momentum, recruited more riders and raised more funds each year to support a cause that has impacted so many of our colleagues and loved ones.

What started with 25 riders in 2023, has swelled to more than 60 in 2025, with more employees, friends and family inspired to participate, motivated to give back, and driven to push themselves for those currently facing their greatest battle. In true ARC fashion, the team has consistently outperformed – quickly emerging as one of the top fundraising teams. To date, their efforts have raised more than $500,000 and helped to provide more hope to countless Albertans.

ARC is proud of its people and pleased to support them in their efforts. With so many Albertans, including ARC employees and their family members, diagnosed with cancer each year, the impact is felt by all. Moved by the countless stories of loved ones lost and the heroic efforts of those who have overcome their cancer diagnosis, our company has joined the fight against cancer. As a Northern Lights sponsor of the Tour Alberta for Cancer event, and by donating $5 million to the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, we are leading with impact and working towards a cancer-free future.
