ARC is proud to have a long history of giving back to our communities, it’s core to who we are. Since the beginning, we’ve made it a priority to positively contribute to the communities where we live and work. We are fortunate to have a strong and profitable business that allows us to make significant contributions to communities. This success is the direct result of our people, who bring passion and care to our operations and bring our giving efforts to life.
At the heart of our giving efforts, we strive to build strong relationships through long-term partnerships with long-term impact. Our contributions are dependent on what the community needs most, whether that is financial, volunteer time, or donations. We form multi-year partnerships with local organizations because it allows us to realize significant impact through our contributions, and we want to keep this momentum going for years to come.
To-date, we have donated more than $35 million to charitable organizations across the areas where we live and work. Specifically, in the Dawson Creek, Grande Prairie and Drayton Valley areas, the organizations we partner with have close ties to our employees and our communities.
From sponsoring a PARDS therapy horse to spending more than 150 hours clearing snow for seniors, ARC’s community giving efforts have made an impact in big ways and small. Our long-term relationships with organizations like United Way, STARS, Grande Prairie Hospital Foundation, Calgary Food Bank, and Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids have allowed us to support with what the community needs most.
