Students and New Graduates

As a leader in our sector, ARC is committed to sustaining superior results through attracting, retaining and developing the best and the brightest. We offer a variety of options for our Summer Student and New Graduate programs. Students and New Graduates are given the opportunity to develop strong technical skills, contribute to exciting projects and learn from experienced industry professionals.

ARC’s START program
The Student Talent Attraction and Retention Tracks (START) is a program for engineering students and engineering new graduates. The START program was created to provide deliberate technical skill development opportunities for students and new graduates. Engineering Students in the START program rotate through successive summer terms to gain valuable skills and experience across a broad spectrum. Upon graduation, top performing engineering students are offered a new graduate position, which generally includes a two year period in one of ARC's field offices.

The START program is an important element of attracting talent for the future.  By recruiting the best and brightest today, we are building a talent pipeline to ensure our continued success into the future.

Co-op Student and Summer Student Programs
ARC offers students summer or work term employment opportunities. We begin recruiting for summer positions in September for the following summer, while work term positions are posted througout the year. All opportunities are posted on our Career page.

Students in this program will collaborate on projects and gain real and meaningful work experience. All students are assigned a senior mentor and provided with challenging work to enhance the students in class learning.
