    1) What are your 3 favorite things about working at ARC?

    • Culture – The positive environment fostered at ARC is infectious and makes it a very motivating place to work
    • People – Knowledgeable, driven and friendly staff, in addition to strong leadership, allow for excellent learning opportunities
    • Project Opportunities – ARC’s diverse asset base has allowed me to work on interesting and challenging projects where I’ve been able to apply my engineering training to real life situations

    2) In your opinion, what does ARC do uniquely for students and new graduates?
The reason ARC stands out among other companies, in terms of student and new grad programs, is the integration of students and new grads into the company. The meet and greets with senior staff and the various social functions throughout the year are very welcoming. ARC invests in, and values, their summer students and new grads at a level that I have not seen at other companies.

    3) Where do you see your career at ARC going from here?
If offered a full time position, I would look forward to capitalizing on an interesting and exciting engineering career.  ARC has a number of top-tier projects that offer excellent learning opportunities for a new grad. ARC’s focus on career development would ensure constant professional growth and new challenges.

    4) Why should other students and new graduates want to work for ARC?
ARC offers a stable and fun work environment. In addition, it has an excellent suite of oil and gas assets. The opportunities given to summer students and new graduates are unparalleled in the industry. The projects I’ve been able to work on have enabled me to garner more experience in four months than I ever thought I could get in one summer!

    1) What are your 3 favorite things about working at ARC?

    • The People - At ARC, I am constantly given opportunities to try new things, often resulting in a steep learning curve. Though this sounds daunting, it was instead an exciting challenge because I had the support of the great people who make up the ARC team. ARC has an open door policy when it comes to questions and I have never had a co-worker be anything but eager to help me out. This applies both in the office, with questions ranging from the technical to help with finding work-life balance, and in the field, whether I needed a process explained or another pair of hands to complete a task.
    • The Projects - During my terms at ARC, I was given a wide range of projects to work on, keeping me engaged and challenged. Some lasted a few days, others an entire work term. My time at ARC has been fulfilling because I know how my work has meaningfully contributed to my team and the company, and also because I was encouraged to approach it my own way.
    • The Fun - ARC provides multiple opportunities to meet your colleagues, have fun, and help out. Be it social functions, special events, or volunteer opportunities, there is a wide range of occasions to get involved and contribute to ARC’s amazing culture. I have fond memories of Wednesday breakfasts, work out classes at lunch, participating in Corporate challenge, the blood donor bus, and the golf tournament, just to name a few. There are countless ways to have fun at ARC depending on your interests and I would highly encourage everyone to take advantage of them.

    2) In your opinion, what is ARC's competitive advantage compared to other companies?
The culture at ARC is absolutely amazing! The people at ARC are team oriented and I have always found the environment to be supportive, welcoming, and fun while still producing excellent results. It has the capital advantages of a larger company, but still maintains the feel and opportunities of a smaller company..

    • Friendly Atmosphere - from the office to the field, everyone always has a smile on their face and never hesitates to lend a hand
    • Great Learning Environment - ARC employees do a great job at expanding your knowledge on things you might already understand and they take the time to teach you new things
    • Company Activities

    2) In your opinion, what does ARC do uniquely for students and new graduates?
ARC goes above and beyond to make sure you are prepared for every aspect of your job. Whether it’s something small like making sure you have the right tools for the job or even sitting down to better explain something. ARC employees have always made sure that I feel 100% comfortable with what I am doing and support me to ensure what I am working on is done in a safe manner. Working at ARC has allowed me to discover my potential as I was trusted with multiple projects throughout the summer.

    3) In your opinion, what is ARC's competitive advantage compared to other companies?
The feel of the people and culture are ARC’s biggest advantage; ARC makes you feel like family. Everyone is just a phone call away, even if sometimes it’s just to see how your weekend went or it could be strictly business. There is also no such thing as a dumb question because they understand that we all need to start somewhere.
